Delist or mark as sold

Quick answer

Choose Delist from a product's menu to take it down from one or all marketplaces, or Mark as → Sold to record a sale with its price and where it sold. Marking an item sold can also delist it everywhere, and recorded sales appear in Insights.

How do I delist, remove or take down a listing?

Open the product's menu and choose Delist. If the product is live on several marketplaces, choose All Channels or a single channel. To delist several products, select them and choose Delist from the selection toolbar.

Facebook Marketplace listings are delisted through the Chrome extension. Delisting doesn't record a sale.

How do I mark an item as sold?

Choose Mark as → Sold from the product's menu. The confirmation always appears for a sale:

  • Sale Price (AUD) starts at the product's price. Change it to what the buyer paid.
  • Sold On records where it sold, such as a marketplace, In-Person / Offline or Other.
  • Delist from all marketplaces appears when the item is still live, and is ticked by default.

Enter a sale price above zero

With a sale price above zero, Shopfront records the sale as an order, so it appears in Insights. Without one, the item is marked sold but no sale is recorded.

How do I mark several items as sold?

Select the items and choose Mark as → Sold from the selection toolbar.

  • Each item records its own listed price in your workspace currency.
  • To use one price for all of them, enter it in Same sale price for every item (optional).
  • Items without a listed price are marked sold without a recorded sale unless you enter a price.
  • Delist from all marketplaces removes every selected item from all connected channels.

What does Remember my choice do?

Ticking Remember my choice saves your Delist from all marketplaces choice in this browser. If you later mark a live item as Shipped or Completed, Shopfront uses the saved choice without asking, and the bulk Mark as → Sold confirmation starts with it. The single-item Mark as → Sold confirmation still appears every time.

To change the saved choice, open a workflow's settings menu, choose Mark As and pick Always delist, Never delist or Always ask.

How do I record shipping or completion?

After a sale, use Mark as → Shipped once you've sent the item, then Mark as → Completed to finalise it. These update the item's status in Shopfront; they don't change the order on the marketplace.

Where do I see recorded sales?

Sales that sales detection finds and sales you mark with a price are both recorded as orders. Insights → Sales & Inventory reports on them.

A product can stay live after a sale when the marketplace still has units; see Stock and quantities.
