AI Listing Generation

Upload photos and generate marketplace-ready listings with AI. Titles, descriptions, categories, and attributes — across all your channels at once.

Stop writing the same listing four times. Upload your photos once and Shopfront generates everything you need for every connected marketplace.

How It Works

Upload Photos

Drag and drop up to 300 images in a single batch. Shopfront accepts photos from your desktop, mobile camera, or cloud storage.

The AI automatically groups related images into products — front, back, and detail shots of the same item become one listing. Toggle "Single items" if each photo is a separate product.

AI Generates Your Listings

For each product, the AI generates:

  • Titles and descriptions tailored to each marketplace's style
  • Category mapping across eBay, Depop, Grailed, Shopify, and Vestiaire Collective with confidence scoring
  • Attributes — colour, condition, size, brand, material, and more
  • Measurements read off a tape measure or ruler if you photographed one
  • Pricing based on product identification

Review and Publish

Every generated listing lands in a workflow where you can review, edit, and refine before publishing. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Hit List and choose which channels to publish to — or schedule them for later.

Measurement Auto-Detection

Lay a tape measure or ruler along a garment, photograph it, and Shopfront reads the measurement straight off the scale. Nothing is estimated — measurements only ever come from a physical scale in your photo, never from how big the garment looks.

Getting a read

  • Put a tape measure or ruler in the shot. No scale, no measurement. Shopfront will not guess.
  • Take a close-up. Measurements are read from detail shots, not from your main product photo.
  • Let the garment's edge cross the scale. The point where the hem, cuff or seam meets the printed markings is what gets read, so both need to be visible and in focus.
  • Use whichever scale you like. Read the tape in inches or centimetres — everything is converted to centimetres.

Up to six measurement photos are read per item, so you can capture several dimensions in one go — pit to pit, waist, length, inseam, leg opening, and anything else you lay the tape along.

Why a measurement sometimes doesn't appear

Every reading is confirmed by a second, independent method before it's published. If the two disagree by more than 2 cm, or the photo doesn't clearly support a reading, the measurement is dropped rather than guessed.

A missing measurement means Shopfront wasn't confident enough to publish one — which is the point. A wrong measurement costs you a return; a missing one costs you a message.

Detected measurements are available in your templates as {{measurements}}, which renders as Pit to pit: 52 cm, Waist: 40 cm, Length: 71 cm. The Base, Depop, Grailed and Vestiaire starter templates already use it — see Template Variables.

Customisation

  • Per-marketplace templates — Set custom prompts that shape how the AI writes for each channel
  • AI notes — Add instructions like "always mention 'vintage' in Depop titles" or "use Australian sizing"
  • Processing options — Toggle background removal and image enhancement during generation

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI generations. Free gets 10/month, Pro gets 400, and Premium gets 2,000.
