Offers
Quick answer
Open Offers to see buyer offers from eBay, Depop and Grailed from the last 30 days, grouped by product, and accept, counter or decline them. Grailed has no decline, and offers on other marketplaces don't appear in Shopfront.
Where do I see buyer offers?
Choose Offers in the sidebar. The inbox shows offers from the last 30 days. Open offers are grouped by product, and accepted, declined and expired offers move to Past. Shopfront checks your connected eBay, Depop and Grailed accounts for new offers every 15 minutes.
Offers also appear:
- in the Best Offer column of the Listings → Items table
- in the Offers section of a product's detail view
- as a count on workflow cards.
Which marketplaces support offers?
| Marketplace | Accept | Counter | Decline |
|---|---|---|---|
| eBay | |||
| Depop | |||
| Grailed |
Offers on Shopify, Facebook Marketplace and Vestiaire Collective don't appear in Shopfront and can't be answered from it.
How are offers ranked?
Within each product, offers are ranked by estimated proceeds after the marketplace's headline fees, so an offer on one marketplace can rank above a higher offer on another. The estimate excludes shipping and isn't your exact payout.
How do I accept, counter or decline an offer?
- Accept sells the item to that buyer at the offered price on that marketplace. Confirm to send it.
- Counter sends the buyer a different price. Your counter must be higher than the buyer's offer. On Depop it also can't be above your list price, and after you counter you must wait for the buyer to respond before you accept, decline or counter that offer again. A countered offer stays in Open.
- Decline rejects the offer. Confirm to send it; it can't be undone. Grailed has no decline: counter the offer, or ignore it and it lapses.
Only open, unexpired offers show these actions.
How do I let buyers make offers on eBay?
eBay buyers can only make offers when Best Offer is on. Open Settings → Marketplaces → Channels, select your eBay account and use the Best Offer group:
- Enable Best Offer turns offers on for your eBay listings. It is on unless you turn it off, and it doesn't apply to auctions.
- Auto-accept percentage accepts offers at or above that percentage of the listing price.
- Auto-decline percentage declines offers below that percentage of the listing price. It must be lower than the auto-accept percentage.
Some eBay offers may not reach your inbox
eBay applies the thresholds itself, so offers it accepts or declines automatically may never reach your inbox. The settings apply when a listing is published.
On Depop, the product's Depop tab has an Offers section with Auto-respond and Auto-send offers, each set as a percentage off the list price. These controls are locked while the item is live on Depop.
Does accepting an offer mark the item sold?
No. Accepting sends your answer to the marketplace; Shopfront records the sale when sales detection finds the marketplace order. If Cross-Channel Delisting is on, Shopfront then removes the item from your other channels.
Sales detection and delisting
Owners and admins can turn on Enable Sales Detection in Settings → Marketplaces → Settings to check eBay, Depop, Grailed and Vestiaire Collective for sales on your plan's schedule; Shopify sales arrive automatically when the connection has order access. Cross-Channel Delisting then removes a sold item from your other channels.
Scheduling and relisting
Use Schedule to list a product on chosen channels at a set date and time, and Auto-Relist to delist and relist a live product every few days (7 by default). Shopfront checks for due schedules and relists every five minutes; Facebook Marketplace can't be scheduled or auto-relisted.
