Import and export
Quick answer
Open Imports to bring active and sold listings from connected eBay, Depop, Grailed and Shopify accounts into Shopfront without changing them on the marketplace. Export from the Listings page downloads eBay or Depop CSV files for all products or selected workflows.
How do I import my existing listings?
Connect the marketplace in Settings → Marketplaces → Channels.
Open Imports. Choose Imports in the sidebar, or Import on the Listings page.
Start the import. Select Import listings, then select Import (or Sync for a channel you've imported before) next to each connected channel.
You can import from eBay, Depop, Grailed and Shopify. Facebook Marketplace listings can't be imported. Importing doesn't publish or change anything on any marketplace, and you can leave the page while it runs.
What do I do after importing?
The Imports page has three tabs:
- All imports lists every imported listing.
- Ready to generate holds imports you can turn into Shopfront listings.
- Needs review shows imports that may be the same item, such as one item listed on two marketplaces. Combine them into one item or choose Keep separate before you generate listings from them.
To turn imports into listings:
Select items. Choose Generate selected, or Generate all for every import matching your filters.
Choose channels and confirm. Check the channels in Generate listings and confirm. Shopfront creates draft listings in workflows; nothing is published.
Review and list. Review the drafts in Listings → Workflows, then list them.
How do I export a CSV?
Select Export on the Listings page header to export all your products. To export only some workflows, select them on the Workflows tab and choose Export, or choose Export from a workflow's menu.
Choose eBay (a Seller Hub Reports file in draft mode), Depop (a Bulk Listing CSV) or both, then export.
- Each export is limited to 5,000 products.
- Depop files hold up to 100 products, so larger exports download as several files.
- If products are missing a channel's required fields, the export stops and lists the products to fix.
- Sold, shipped and completed products aren't exported.
Does exporting create live listings?
No. Export only downloads CSV files. Upload them to eBay or Depop yourself, or list from Shopfront instead.
Scheduling and relisting
Use Schedule to list a product on chosen channels at a set date and time, and Auto-Relist to delist and relist a live product every few days (7 by default). Shopfront checks for due schedules and relists every five minutes; Facebook Marketplace can't be scheduled or auto-relisted.
Image enhancement
When you create listings, the Hero Image options can remove the main photo's background to plain white, enhance its lighting and clarity, or both. Enhancement is instructed to keep the item's colours, texture, logos and shape; check each processed photo before listing.
