Price suggestions

Quick answer

Price Suggestions compare your item with similar listings' asking prices and suggest a price. Review it on the product's Market tab; changing the price in Shopfront doesn't update a live listing until you apply the change to that marketplace.

How do I get a price suggestion?

Price Suggestions are on by default for new uploads. To turn them off or on, use the Price Suggestions switch under Listing Generation in Settings → Marketplaces → Settings. The switch is saved in your browser.

When a product has pricing results, open its Market tab to review the suggested price, the price range and the comparable listings.

What do the results mean?

Comparable listings show other sellers' asking prices, not confirmed sale prices. Each one has a match percentage that shows how similar it is to your item. Check the brand, model, condition and currency of the closest matches before you choose a price.

How do I change the price?

Set the price on the Market tab. All channels use this price. To charge a different price on one marketplace, set it on that marketplace's tab.

To change prices for several items at once, select them and choose Adjust price.

Does changing the price update my live listing?

No. A price you save in Shopfront doesn't change a live listing by itself. Open the product's marketplace tab and use the action in its banner, such as Apply supported fields or Relist with saved changes, to send the change to that marketplace. See Review and edit listings.

How many price analyses do I get?

Price analyses use a monthly allowance. The Free plan includes 50 analyses per month; see Billing and usage limits for other plans. Shopfront Lens has a separate allowance for phone price checks.
