Scheduling and relisting

Quick answer

Use Schedule to list a product on chosen channels at a set date and time, and Auto-Relist to delist and relist a live product every few days (7 by default). Shopfront checks for due schedules and relists every five minutes; Facebook Marketplace can't be scheduled or auto-relisted.

How do I schedule a listing?

Open Schedule. Open a product that isn't listed yet. In its Shopfront section, select Schedule on the Schedule row. You can also choose Schedule from the product's menu, or select several items and choose Schedule from the selection toolbar.

Pick the date, the time and the channels to list on.

Confirm. The product stays in Ready to List with a scheduled badge until it goes live.

To change or cancel a schedule, choose Edit Schedule from the product's menu, or Edit on the Schedule row.

eBay, Depop, Grailed, Shopify and Vestiaire Collective can be scheduled. Facebook Marketplace can't, because its listings are created through the Chrome extension; list it from the product's List to menu instead.

Will it list at exactly that time?

Shopfront checks for due schedules every five minutes, so a scheduled listing starts within a few minutes of its time. Marketplace processing can add more time. Check the product's channel status after the scheduled time.

How does Auto-Relist work?

Auto-Relist delists a live product from its marketplaces and lists it again on the same channels, on a repeating schedule.

Open Auto-Relist. Open the product and select Enable on the Auto-Relist row, or choose Auto-Relist from the product's menu or the selection toolbar.

Switch it on. Turn on Enable auto-relist.

Set the interval. Set Every N days at a time of day. The default interval is 7 days.

Save.

The Auto-Relist row then shows the interval and when the next relist is due. Shopfront checks for due relists every five minutes, and only relists products that are currently listed.

Facebook Marketplace listings aren't auto-relisted. If no connected marketplace can be relisted, Shopfront pauses auto-relist and shows the reason on the Auto-Relist row.

Can Auto-Relist lower the price?

Yes. Turn on Drop price each relist, then set:

  • the Drop, as a percentage or a dollar amount
  • an optional Min price
  • how many relists to wait, with Start after.

The drop applies only to scheduled relists, not to a manual relist.

Workspace default

Owners and admins can set a workspace default under Auto-Relist Price Drops in Settings → Marketplaces → Settings.

How do I relist now?

  • For one product, choose Relist Now from the product's menu.
  • For several products, select them and choose Relist from the selection toolbar.
  • For a whole workflow stage, choose Relist All from the Listed stage's Actions menu.

To send saved edits to a live listing, see Review and edit listings.

Why has a scheduled listing or relist failed?

Check the product's channel status and error message. Common causes are a disconnected marketplace account and missing required category attributes. Fix the problem, then schedule or relist again.
